romancing winter

Wrote two poems after a long time. Winter made me write both of these. It's wonderful how winter conquered me, my fear and hate turned into love and admiration.

My mind freed from thoughts about her,
Like a tree from the burden of leaves in winter.

I said I'd keep updating my blog (to my imaginary fan base) and I am a man who keeps his word. I don't mind the mishap of Google robots categorizing my blog as spam I still keep talking to my imaginary fans.

Wokey so what do I talk about - about most recent of my little idiosyncrasies? Of course I know I'm going to talk about that or else why that title of post.

So the story goes like this . One year back I happened to hear a song being played in my roomie's friend's mobile ( that's all I remember about him but you can't make fun of my grey cells - my roomie had lot many friends (very unlike me)). I remember the song caught me off guard coz I still had my prejudice against western music - I thought western was nauseating noisy headache material. And I was captivated by this song. I heard it never again and I forgot all about it until today when my friends downloaded some Enrique songs and somehow I remembered this song and I thought the artist was same. And all I knew about the song is that somewhere in between it had lines to the effect of the title of this post.

Well I have already spent the rest of this day trying to find this song from the lan here without any result. Dear reader if you can help me in this regard I'd be very grateful.

Now that is some lesson in optimism isn't it? To hope my recollection about this song is true , to hope someone would read this crap , to hope he would know the answer.......

But then that is the way we are are'nt we - always hoping for the miracle and yes living through a series of miracles without realizing. Oops this boring blogger is now getting philosophical too! God save the imaginary fan(s).

My experiment with blogs begins. Funny the way I end up doing things which I thought I never would.

For starters I am pasting some ealier works - they don't have much quality (for I am not natural at writing) but they reflect my mental condition when I wrote them (and I claim to be honest )

They come in all languages I know - two of them I barely know. Some without a name coz i couldn't think of one. I call them poems I'd like to know what you call them.

The night cloud keeps shuttling between horizons tirelessly,
For that glorius moment of having moon close to her bosom.

The shore waits for the sea to say.
And the sea wants to hear it from shore.

Heart of desperate shore is broken into billion sand grains.
And the sea bangs its head on the rocks.

While writing above two I was reading Tagore's couplets. So that explains the style.


ALL THAT I ASK FOR
A face to fill the empty darkness of my heart,
A voice to linger in the misty silence of my soul,
A smile to brighten the gloomy corners of my mind,
A hope to keep me going in the lonely trail of my life.

That one in malayalam - the only language I really know. Sadly it is in English alphabet ; may be I will give it in malayalam font some time later.
